How M1 got its name.
M1 began life as a family-run nail salon — one of those proper Vietnamese businesses you’ll find on high streets up and down the country. But the heart of it was always out back: coffee slow-dripping through the phin, a pot of phở on the go, and the whole family eating together between appointments.
So we kept the name, swapped the varnish for cà phê, and brought the food and coffee we grew up on to the New Brighton seafront. Same family, same M1 — now with a lot more noodles. Coffee’s still made for sharing. That part never changed.
